Performance
A Galdur UI terminal showing every item in the game runs at about 120 FPS, against 94 for the vanilla creative inventory on the same machine.

The measure
Measured with Spark on the test terminal (/galduruidev terminal: a grid of every item above the inventory):
| Screen | FPS |
|---|---|
| Galdur UI test terminal | ≈ 120 |
| Vanilla creative inventory | 94 |
Same machine, same scene.
Where it comes from
The main gains come from GaldurRender, the only class that draws:
- One draw call per 9-slice sprite: Minecraft 1.21.1 repeats a sprite's edges in tiles; all tiles of a sprite go in a single call.
- Grid cell backgrounds in one call, whatever the number of visible cells.
- Items in two lighting passes instead of one flush per item.
- Amounts batched into a single submission.
An item grid also draws only its visible rows, whatever the size of the list: see Item grids & terminals.
Measure your own screens
In a development run, /galdurui fps toggles an FPS counter that stays visible on screens (F3 is hidden there).
